The zinc is contained in a highly bioavailable form which contributes to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood, normal fertility and reproduction, normal function of the immune system, normal carbohydrate and metabolism and protein synthesis, protection of cells from oxidative stress as well as normal cognitive function.

The magnesium also contained in a highly bioavailable format contributes to normal muscle function, normal energy-yielding metabolism, a reduction of tiredness and fatigue and normal functioning of the nervous system.

This special formula is different to other ZMA formulations in that it also contains the addition of amino acid chelated copper and boron. Copper is included to help maintain an optimal zinc to copper ratio within the body and contributes to the normal function of the immune system and nervous system.
